Never got to play them away they folded their under 18 side were top of our league we were mid table ....1\4 of the way through they folded .......all teams defunct .....

I remember in the late 70s very early 80s(?) going with the wifes younger brother...he was a bit shy and wanted somebody he knew with him...to the S lpool training when they used to train on the big gravel carpark in front of those steps by the station...free floodlights from the street lights...in the kick abouts it was dog eat dog and that was before the gravel got you.
