Ian Buchan was completely of his depth managing a top flight football team, was former secretary/manager Theo Kelly, who was seriously into saving money, still around when Buchan was appointed by John Moores?

I read we were ruled by a committee for a time after Cliff Britton's departure in 58 after being sacked following two awful seasons. Poor Ian Buchan's life came to a tragic end just seven years after leaving us, dying in a car crash at only aged 45 in 1965.
