Alex asked the Catt to let him be the substitute in final ....
Saying after the game only if he could have come on before extra time he felt he could have either created or got the winner for us - it would have been so fitting if that had happened.......
Not stubborn just althoritatarn, and in the GV he did not get on with him as he was a flare player inconsistent sometimes, the Catt would have preferred the likes of Iain at John over the park who was effective, but a workhorse......

Alex looks supremely graceful even when trying to maim a goalkeeper
....I always say players who are like that look like they’re playing in carpet slippers, such is their touch on the football and graceful movement. Young was certainly one of those.
