....I was playing back in those days, but set up a consultation with Clinkard at Bellefield for a team mate of mine who had a serious knee injury (I knew it was completely knackered and Clinkard confirmed it). He had a little box on the wall, and when he finished he said “just chuck a tenner in there”. He was a nice fella, they might well have donated the cash to charity!!
