That is the team that a 4/5 year old BR started following.

My dear old mother-92 now- still reminds me that I was going to bring her to meet Harry Catterick.

She bought my first Everton kit that came in a white cardboard box. That was the round collar jersey white shorts and socks. She sowed on the number 8 for Alan Ball.

Everton broke my heart when he was sold.
