Ernie Hunt scored from the controversial free kick against us at Highfield Road Oct. 1970.
Not that the free kick was controversial just the way it was performed was deemed against F.A. rules.
Ernie Hunt signed for Everton in 1967 and only played about 12 league games

I was posting that many I just copied the caption my they get it wrong sometimes - I sometimes notice if I become obsessive, and her indoors was giving me earache on being on here to long this am/pm -
I have overlooked it - Do you remember our chant for Ernie Hunt dead slow Ernie Ernie....... he was a flop but died sadly recently....

God sunniways coaches that brings back memories emtying the milk bottles out of the windows but they weren't full of milk
