More like Oct 70, Joey, when we lost 4-0. Keith Newton didn't join us until December 69 and Whittle didn't play in that game either. Sadly, Keith died of cancer when he was just 56

It's what the caption stated thought it was too early for Whittle- sorry to hear about Newton , but he never impressed me as a player too old when we finally got him , and very slow on the turn
