Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right...
So what does happen next?

What is the first Attacking ploy and how is it countered .

What is the first defensive ploy and how is it countered

How does GOT see it evolving and...

Will the game be better off with no offside.

Goalhangers are the reason it was created. Imagine footy without the offside rule. Would be like when we were kids playing in the park.

Sam Allardyce's West Ham go flying up the league playing a 9-0-2 formation, eventually winning the league by over 30 points and Andy Carroll is feted as the greatest centre forward in history.

This stunning form leads to a summer battle between Barcalona and Real Madrid for the Super Special Ones service, culminating in him becoming the first manager to win the Champions League 15 times on the bounce.

After fulfilling his destiny of managing Madrid, his head swells so large it forms its own gravitational pull before eventually collapsing in on its self and forming a super massive black hole that causes the end of planet Earth

Eliminating it would be a harsh step which I don't think would make the game better. Some changes are desperately needed however and it'd be great to debate if it weren't for the fact that this is a sport which is just getting around to video replay about 20 or 30 years after other sports started experimenting with it.

I'm all for thinking about changes though: light between defender and attacker to be offside etc. is worth a discussion.
