Not the case at all. I'm worryingly not tremendously far away from his age and I know and knew full well what is and is not acceptable. In fact, in my younger years we had Rock Against Racism and the Anti-Nazi League (more action than appears to be happening with the current yoof).
My dad might have had that poor excuse of the time he grew up in. My generation, not.

I think you will find that racial abuse was much more widely tolerated in the 70s and 80s (and arguably even into the 90s).
Your welcome to your opinion like, but you’re living in cloud cuckoo land if don’t think it was.

Seventies and early Eighties were, imo, the temporary death knell for the 'casual racism' that I thought you were referring to. After that period, you could use, for example, N and P words but both you and your surroundings knew exactly that you were explicitly identifying yourself as a racist.
Worryingly, it is returning to being social acceptable (and, to certain extent, at a worse level), pushed by Musk and Tommy "Vacation In Dubai And Defraud My Mortgage" Yaxley-Lennon, as well as the Reform party.

Yes but if you went the bog at the match when we scored that 3rd goal, fell asleep and no one found you and you've only just woken up today and not spoken to anyone and that's the first thing you've seen...it aint so cringy then as you start your celebrations for an excellent 3-1 win!

Think clips like this would've been in the behind the scenes (at HD) thingy on Youtube (when we win or draw). I was expecting to see one for this game but maybe they decided not to make one as we blew the lead...so all these clips are now just being used as 'content'.
