Appreciate your perspective. I'm not a complete possession % lover - though there were times when sustained possession would have taken some pressure off. I'm curious what helps us get there.
Did you watch the match or just look at the stats after? I don't mean that to sound obnoxious. They played their hearts out last night even if they did give away possession way too much and keep lumping the ball long to an isolated Barry to allow forest to get possession again. It was far from pretty.

A great result giving all blues a happy end to the year, I don’t anyone would have predicted that win given the starting 11 and bench, however we stared brightly and reduced Forest to very few real chances, but took ours. Dyche has done a great job of taking all the good seen in Forest last season and turned them into a one dimensional style of play we all saw when he was with us. I’m grateful for him getting through the deduction year and saving us after Frank, but he had run his course with us, seeing our depleted squad win comfortably was great last night.
Onwards and upwards, I can’t wait to be back it HDS on Sunday once again.

Great result and a clever and highly determined performance. Big shout for our away fans who sounded immense from the kick off.
I think the players we had available will benefit greatly in the long-run from their performances last night when most of our more creative players were out - they've hopefully proved to themselves and each other that they are capable of doing more than looking for Illy, Grealish and KDH every time they receive the ball, which should give us more opportunities when we're at full strength. Another big week ahead, 4 or 6 points and a win in the cup would do nicely.

Sustained possesion would come from the players around Tim-Garner.
Can point to Barry, McNeil, Patterson, Rohl (b4 he went to RB), lack of attacking LB etc.
Our CMs almost 'singlehandly' destroyed them, when in the past we would have given up that lead away. Throw in Picks, JOB, Tarks and Myko (defensively) and you've got a winning hand.

Some perspective here please. We acquitted ourselves with a good performance against a poor side led by a dinosaur of a manager.
You’ve over-corrected there.

Our attack had been decimated, we had a handful of players that had barely played in our starting eleven, away from home, against an expensively-assembled squad with a lot more options than we had available to us.

It’s a great result.

Agreed . Sometimes Moyes winds me up with his subs and some of his tactical decisions but we are very lucky to have him in my opinion.
Keane has had his best season for nearly half a decade and his work with Tim has to be applauded. I really didn't see a decent midfielder there but he looks like he can do a good job in a deep midfield role.
Get a set piece coach and maybe get a few players in during the window and we could get Europe . With this rag tag squad at the moment , that would be a brilliant overachievement.
