Noel and a consortium are looking into buying the BBC and running it as a profit making organisation.
He is correct in the video, that the BBC does need an overhaul and making relevant to the current digital, online age we are in. i.e streaming, on demand, catchup etc.

I do expect more for my TV license. It has increased quite a lot IIRC correctly over the last 10 years or so since I bought my first one, but I don't think what you get has increased by the same ratio. It seems impossible to run the level of service they need for this day and age on the current method of income.
Is this the right way to go, privatisation and profit? Or will it just descend into a clone of sky, itv, c4 with adverts and not many great programs?
