I've been to a couple of soccer shops in North Carolina. All of them owned by members of the hispanic community. Same exact shirts, plus Mexican teams and all the Central American, South American and North American teams. Asked the owner if he had an Everton shirt, he asked who Everton was.![]()

You should have asked him had he not heard of Tim Howard or Landon Donovan.
I don't mind that I can buy Everton kits online. When I'm in LA or San Diego wearing my Nike Everton kit, people always do a double take. I hate seeing Southern California flooded with United and Barcelona kits. Hate it
Unfortunately, it's all the American football world knows. Tell them to name 20 European teams from at least 5 different countries and the only answers you'll get are Real Madrid, Barcelona, United, City, Chelsea, and maybe Arsenal. That's about as close-minded as the American public is to the football world.
Thing is, the language barrier was so huge that he probably would've said "OHHH!!" and just nodded in agreement when I said something about Everton. Besides the fact that he was from Mexico and more than likely hated the guts out of every US national team member. Could be wrong, though..
Wrong, Nike stores are permitted to sell them.Yup. Deal with Kitbag.
