Very bullish quotes from his agent. I like that. We could really do with a young player who would be ready for the first team squad within their first season.

Imagine the novelty of it, rather than the traditional disappearance into the bermuda triangle u23s.

That tweet contradcits his agent though.

His agent said Marseille wanted him to go out on loan and thats part of the reason he rejected an extension.

The Athletic said:
Everton employ recruitment leads in all major European leagues (including Holland and Belgium) and South America. Former Middlesbrough scout Nathan Fisher has taken over from Walsh appointee Dave Worthington in Spain, while Brands chose to part ways with the club’s full-time Scandinavia scout Ole Nielsen. Speaking in 2018, Nielsen explained Brands had chosen to “prioritise Portugal and France within the club’s scouting budget”.

Quote from The Athletic article on our recruitment process. This lad is obviously a product of this decision a couple of years ago.

Goes to show the time and effort that goes in to making most signings. Unless the owners get involved.

This, rather than Todibo, is how you roll dice.

It's smart - those are the places most likely to have talented non-stars that fall through the cracks. All the big fish work the second-tier leagues, but how many of them really dig deep outside of the top 4 pyramids?
