We have that battle of Alberta, the Flames beat the Stars! Calgary and Edmonton of course, was a serious rivalry back in the 80's.

Stars still have major roster issues to sort out and Seguin's contract is a heavy burden, but i'm happy with how they played. And Otter was absolutely fantastic, and still a kid! We'll surely lose Klingberg, but we can do with adding offense in FA so that's ok. I like the team and it can be built better. Oilers-Flames should be a great series, but I'll have to pull for the Flames. The last 2 times the Stars have been in the playoffs they lost to the Stanley Cup champion, so let's make it three in a row.

I have a soft spot for the Flames because of 1989. They were the only team to beat the Habs in a Stanley Cup final at the old Montreal Forum.

@4 Eyes Better Than 2 Has been reminding me of how bad the Habs have been this year, but since 1993 the Habs have a decent enough record with regards to qualifying for the playoffs.

I don't see them becoming the sad joke that is the Buffalo Sabres. If they recruit well over the next few years, then should be able to bounce back again.

I'd like to see them drop the coach must be able to speak French rule though, it's seriously hurting their chances of getting the best coach possible for the job.

We are in good hands with MSL.

Wright, Caufield, and Suzuki is the makings of a good team I'm 2 or 3 years time.

LOL

Can't get any worse for the habs tbh. Only way is up from here.

Haven't looked or paid attention but is there an issue with Salary cap ? Do they need to move players on to free up space.

Oh my God the Lightning just absolutely owned the Panthers right in the face. That was amazing and I am now fully convinced they’re winning three in a row.

Another wild Oilers game. Lots of fun but no way either team lifts the Cup playing like this. The longer these playoffs go on the more I like the Lightning’s chances of threepeating.
