And season over. Hopefully heads will roll for this unacceptable season. Hope they cut Kaep and splash the cash on the right players to get a Superbowl. At least I don't need to stay up late on a Sunday till the Final now, depending on if I can be bothered :)

The 49ers overpaid for Kapernick and probably should have just offered a contract in the 16M/range. However I still think he's a good player. Harbaugh has just destroyed Kapernick's game. 2 years ago he was the best running QB I had ever seen but now no one fears him taking off and running because they don't let him and they don't call any read-option plays. I kind of understood that last year because they didn't want him to be hurt for the playoffs (though I thought the 49ers would unleash him when they did get in the playoffs and they never did) but this year is different as the D isn't good enough to win games anymore. If there is no threat of Kaep running the ball then he's at best an avg QB. Or if you are afraid of him getting hurt then maybe you should have signed someone better than Blaine Gabbert as your No. 2 guy.

Harbaugh is a good coach but its best for the 49ers and Kapernick that he leaves now. I think his act there has gotten old and the players are tuning him out.

I don't like their chances

Aaron Rogers is an animal

He's probably the best QB in the league right now. However against teams with a pulse he hasn't really played well on the road. In fact if it wasn't for a 4th and 10 conversion late against Miami, he's 2-5 away from Green Bay. GB better hope Seattle drops one of the next 2 because their only chance against them is playing at Lambeau.

As Stephen A Smith says, He's a baaaaaaaaaaad man! But I agree, their away form has been poor this season

The NFL is not a league for running QBs. The rules are set up to favour passing plays (think about all the PI calls), the money for decent passers is INSANE, the price of RBs has dropped dramatically over the last ten years, and NFL defenders are faster and heavier than their college counterparts.

If you're gonna run the ball in the NFL, use a running back. If you use your starting QB, sooner or later he will get badly hurt by a Clay Matthews, Patrick Willis or Vontaze Burfict. Any decent D coordinator, faced with a read/option offence, will tell his D to ALWAYS take out the QB. Even if it means the RB gets the ball and makes a chunk of yards, it's a running play so the QB can be blocked even after the ball moves to the RB and roughing the passer is not relevant.... block a guy hard enough, often enough and he will break. Look at RG3.

pro-tip, Mikey: Ignore Stephen A. Ignore the other dude on MORNINGDAILYSHOUTFESTESPN2RAWR. (not having cable tv here, nor a super reliable internet, I miss sports, but don't miss the four letter network.)

Peter King on SI.com is the way to go for Futbol Americano.

I like Stephen A! I find myself usually agreeing with him in his constant arguments with Skip Bayless

I genuinely look forward to when a new "First Take" gets added to You Tube. It's much better than the show with Michelle Beadle on it

You know who's a great running QB? Rodgers.
