It looks like you need a LOT of money to buy all this gear. Whats the start up cost for a kid wanting to play Americano Footy?

Here, it's not so expensive. Given the abundance of equipment, facilities, and coaching, it's relatively cheap to play; at many ages it's (mostly) free
(school teams).

It's much cheaper to play here than competitive soccer.

Indeed. There are better angles of it, but I'm pretty sure that's the best catch I've ever seen. The ref was throwing a flag for defensive pass interference too...he was mugging the receiver before he caught it.
