I am really astounded the amount of people rooting for the Pats. You lot complain when Johnny Foreigner supports Man U or Chelsea. It's the same thing!!!!

I had the 'pleasure' of living in New England while the Pats and the Red Sox were winning everything. The New Englanders were insufferable, and their attitudes reminder me a whole lot of the shower over the park.

I chose the Pats for no other reason than to annoy my wee brother because he's a Colts fan and apparently the two don't get along.

Ermm, Portland is on the border of Oregon, and as such about 3 hours drive from Seattle. San Fran, on the other hand is about a 9 to 10 hour drive from Portland.

I'm a Dolphin's fan mainly because Dan Marino was in an Ace Ventura film when I was younger. I like their fight song too

I was rooting for the Texans to win the SB this year so I'm glad the team that beat them wont be playing in it

I support NE simply due to the fact they have England in their name and i feel an affinity to them.

See, that's fine in my eyes. Supporting someone to annoy a family member. I dig that.

I normally support whoever is playing the Pats. Unless it is the Cowboys. Then I want both of them to lose.

Pats haven't won anything in eight years although they are a consistently good team. Have you ever noticed how when someone lives in an area where they don't support the local teams they almost ALWAYS come away with an especially intense dislike of those teams? I have heard it literally hundreds of times: "I spent six months in Pittsburgh and let me tell you their fans are deluded." "I spent a few years in Dallas and their fans are out of their minds." I am pretty sure I have the full collector's set of "I lived in ____" trading cards now.

Sports fans are (in the majority) all deluded and crazy. If you remove your fandom and watch other team's fans they will seem utterly insane. In fact they are all pretty average -- if a team is winning it just increases the volume.

Aside from the RS fans of course who really are crazy.
