Carr was a decent NFL QB but never more than decent and certainly not worth the cap hit. Plus he didn't get along with the locals, for whatever reason I can't say, but that makes a difference. He seems like a decent enough person, but if you aren't healthy, aren't spectacularly great, and aren't liked by the locals then there's no love lost in retirement. Hopefully he heals and leads a healthy life in retirement.

Yes it struck me eventually that there wouldn’t be any La Liga top flight games but there might be some lower leagues playing. I went to Alcorcon a few years ago it’s about 30 mins away.

I will try for both. Have a lot of family on the outskirts of Dublin I can use as a hotel.

The season's first international game will take place the following day in Sao Paulo (01:00 BST, 6 September), where the Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers last season in the first NFL game to be held in Brazil.

This time round the Los Angeles Chargers will be the designated 'home' team against the Chiefs, who were denied a record third straight Super Bowl win by the Eagles in February.

It will be the first NFL game to be streamed live and for free to a worldwide audience on YouTube.

He didn’t want to go to OTAs or explain his absence.

I’m sorta ambivalent, I don’t really think the team is good with him, but he’s probably better than Rudolph/Fields/Wilson/Cousins.

I still think it’s more egregious to go into another season without a WR2 than whoever the QB would be from that pile of poo.
