Imagine being Todd Bowles and knowing that aggressive offense put a Super Bowl ring on your finger, and then you become HC and decide "yeah I'm going to put training wheels on the best QB in the history of the league and try to win games with my slightly above-average defense." I'd be OK with sacking him right now tbh.

Also I found it very suspicious that Houston has been terrible all year and barely making an effort in these games, and then they play the Cowboys and suddenly they're flying all over and hitting really hard and getting chippy after the whistle. I'd be furious if I knew my team could have played that hard all year and didn't.
To be fair, they have played a fair few games close and just let it slip - typically through a lack of experience down the stretch. Had a few boneheaded plays, just as seen with Tunsil’s two false starts at the end. Brutal

Nice to see the Dolphins getting beat by the Chargers. Even if the Bills lose next week we still have top spot in the AFC East. #1 seed will have gone, but for a season in which we’ve looked awful (through bad play calling and injuries) I’ll take the retention of the division.
Sorry, possibly my meaning wasn't clear. Of course they want the #1 seed, and rightly so.
At the time of posting, the Chiefs were 27 - 0 up against the worst team in their division - also the second-worst team in the AFC and one of only three teams to already be eliminated from the playoffs.
With 3 minutes left in the first half and winning 27-0, any team that genuinely rates itself as a contender for the Superbowl should, against an opponent tanking for draft picks, be able to send several backups on to the field and still win comfortably. Credit to the Broncos for mounting a comeback, but still...
There's a lot to unpick about how / why the Chiefs very nearly lost that game.
Most of it was down to a bit of complacency for me. Mahomes starting making bad throws that led to turnovers and Denver scored off the short fields.
