Niners have been miles the better team but two big calls went against Tampa that could have made it more like a 14 point game

I agree, Wilson is average at best and showed that at times in Seattle when the coaching was much better. But you've got no choice. So sit him and try to find a coach who can work with what limited skills he still brings.

Honestly the hardest part is going to be finding a coach who actually wants to risk working with Russ.

In the past he used his legs better than any other QB. Had a uncanny knack when to scramble behind the LOS and run WRs open and when to run for a 1st down. Not to mention for being a small QB the D rarely got a clean shot on him. Today, he can't outrun the DE/Edge anymore. He's a pocket passer w/ a still decent deep ball, that's it.
