With the reported interest in Griezman and Koke it seems to me like a ploy to strengthen his hand. If they want him to stay they better back him with €'s.

Agreed and if it was just the disappointment of losing the final that has caused him to think that way (unlikely) then if he was to go it wouldn't be this summer because there's no good job available.

Very true and I think it will be a case he doesn't want to sell his stars , twice CL finalists in 3 years so they just need a couple of additions.
