Allardyce can achieve that in half the time.

Plus dyche got stability by getting relegated first, they were nowhere near stable before that. Is that what we want? Stability at any cost?

Actually more to the point, dyche got stability in 5 years, we need stability in 5 weeks. Can dyche honestly be the man to do that ?

Who ever comes in has 8 weeks to stabilise results, assess the squad then agree transfer targets (presuming they get a say on transfers). The time pressure limits the options to a British manager ideally until the end of he season so we assess managerial options again. Like it or not if this is the thinking that only leaves Moyes or Allardyce. I would prefer Moyes.
