How many Points ?

Considering those games take us till the 7th January, we will more than likely be with this same squad as we have never been quick with transfers and often get them wrong anyway. Without Ndiaye, Dewsbury and Gana and with the the 2 worst strikers in the league to choose from, I just don't know where the goals are coming from. We should be looking at a decent points return but i am expecting about 4 to 6 with this current squad.

Merry Christmas.

10pts should be the realistic target.

3 wins and a draw vs Forest.

Moyes has to start showing this European form hes aspiring to and having the players speak about.
That is the type of return i would expect. But it's Everton, It's a few games consecutively at the right or wrong time depending how you see it. Players missing, with 3 more on 4 Yellows cards - (Tarkowski + Garner + Mykolenko) needing to avoid a yellow in next 2. Plus Grealish & Alcaraz both on 3 may not help

The concern is that these are the fixtures where we should be picking up close to maximum points. If we had Dewsbury-Hall and Ndiaye, you would be confident. But it’s going to be tough without them.

Yes the teams we are playing aren’t great. But neither are we without our best players. I can’t remember us creating a single chance yesterday. The 1-0 flattered us, we were predictably sterile going forward. I’m actually a little bit worried.
I'd be amazed if we exceed 7 points from these four games. No goals in this side, and too defensive an approach from the manager to generate them in the absence of Ndiaye and KDH. And I'd be staggered if we progressed in the cup to add to those 7+ points.

With the lack of options we've got it's going to be a very hard slog. Best case scenario is that we're spot on defensively and win by the odd goal.

Think 7 - 9 personally, would have been more optimistic if we had KDH available.

We could win all four, but think we might come unstuck, and would not be surprised if we lost away at the scabs.

These are the kind of fixtures that Moyes always used to win the first time around. The squad is a lot weaker, the weaker teams are stronger and we have very fragile confidence. Hoping for 2 home wins and an away draw, but could be anywhere between 0 and 12.
