Happy for the lad; who knows how his career might have panned out if not for his horrific run of injuries early on. He's at least made a bit more of his football career than his fellow Everton bench-warmer, Victor Anichebe.
I watched Hallam Hope make his debut for Swindon on Saturday against Port Vale. He scored as well. I didn't realise he was only 26. I remember when he joined as a youngster from Man City and there was a lot of excitement then. Making a decent living in the lower leagues, and looks like he could progress still.
Looks like Harry Charsley made his debut for Mansfield tonight against Oldham. 3-0 down and he got subbed off after 51 minutes.
Posted this in the Scottish thread a week ago, Matty Kennedy who we signed for £250k from Kilmarnock when he was 17 is now playing for Aberdeen , made his debut away to St Mirren on Saturday. I think he’s 26 now, never really got near our first team but is making a reasonable living out of the game now.
