Back to the dark realms of the internet for this 3pm kick off, even if amazon were a little bit behind most of Boxing Day.

If we don’t do anything silly early on then we’ll be able to pick through their defence and win this comfortably.

Yep that would be my thinking aswell.

Out of Newcastle & Man City we have much more chance of 3 points at Newcastle so play near enough full strength (maybe rotate 2-3 at most) and then play a weakened side against City resting a few for the cup.

Play our best 11 available v Newcastle - the team that started v Burnley if possible. Get the 3 points and rest 5 or 6 ( Digne , Sidibe , Mina , DCL , Richarlison ) v City - a game we have very little chance in anyway and go full blast v RS in the cup.

Defo wont start the same 11 ,be surprised if we did,and if Richarlison or Davies get a yellow this game,they miss the man city game,this is the last game before the yellow card count changes to needing 10 yellows for a 2 game ban

Would like to see DCL and Kean together but it wouldn’t surprise me if DCL was rested for City.
We have used him at City a few times, he’s a good outball if they are pinning us in.

Barcodes won't park the bus like Burnley so should be entertaining game with better chances for us to score, we just need to defend as well as we did yesterday and we'll be fine

Think people are underestimating Newcastle at home here.
Have not lost a league game there since august.
