New Everton Stadium Discussion

Fill in the consultation everyone, Everton may need to show the Government it's backed by the people to prevent it being called in, your support is vital for the project.
Negative comments are just as valuable to be honest. One of the arguments we would come up against time and time again in hearings was that our consultation wasnt valid as we didnt do enough to consult with those groups that had issues with the project, and hence the responses were overly positive

Rainbow landing plumb on Bramley Moore there's gold in that thar dock.
At least there is for whoever redevelops it.

Ah, the slightest news of a new stadium always has the deluded Kopites crawling out from under their rock.

‘They don’t have the finances!!!’

‘iMaGiNaRy StAdIuM!!!!

They really are deluded. Do they think we’re happy to sink £40m+ already into this project just because it’s better to lie to supporters that something proactive with the stadium is being done?

None of them predicted that USM were going to lay down £30m for a place at the front of no queue to get the naming rights for the stadium but they apparently all know the ins and outs of Everton’s finances.

After some emails to and fro they eventually gave me the names of the historic england committee who suddenly became very interested in the docklands after years of neglect.

If you read the updated design and access statements, we’re really hammering home the “creating a civic space” aspect of the updates and the western plaza. I assume this is to give us another weapon against these plebs from Historic England and the likes, proving that putting a stadium there is a net benefit to the area and the city.

To optimise seating it was always going to be a bowl and most if not all new big football stadiums are bowls.

Shame it looks like the single tier has gone?
