Hope they do up the surrounding area like as it isnt the most glitzy.

Hopefully Nelson Dock gets filled in and they put in some boozers / food places for fans.

One of the main feats that will make this an incredible setting is that it is surrounded by water. Dan Meis’ design incorporates the surrounding docks. It would be criminal to fill Nelson Dock in. There’s loads of space to build anything you want on the surrounding land overlooking the water.

And any spaces in the stadium site car park will need to be pre booked.

They do also state there are something like 6 thousand car parking spaces within 30 minutes of the ground.

Hope they are not all in town. I drive in from the East Lancs Road direction, so am hoping some options for parking before the town centre

Plenty of businesses on Great Howard Street will be more than willing to rent out car parking. Bit like around Old Trafford and Wembley.

I can only imagine the 3 away dressing rooms are to cover all eventualities. There will be different standards and requirements for League, European and International football

Anfield was considered a failure for this due to the lack of things to do around the ground. Newcastle being in the centre was much more favourable.

It adds weight to the notion clubs building new stadia are living in a fools paradise where riches and transformation to greatness are guaranteed when in reality all evidence points to a cursed venture. The footballing gods slipped in a title for Leicester to distract attention then used the stadium to down his chopper.. Remember the soothsayer and his prophesy in Shalespeares play Julius Caesar - "beware the tides and Mosh"
