New Everton Stadium Discussion

In a 'post Covid world' we will be back to normal. Because it will be post covid.
Yes but it won't be the 'old' normal, it will be a new and as yet unquantifiable new 'post covid normal'...which in a number of years will be come the standard

Just as the old £ s d money became new pence, then just pence.
Just as 20,000 standing in the Gwladys St became 8000 sitting.
Things hardly ever remain the same
Change is the only constant

62,000 is the maximum capacity the stadium is designed to hold and that is if safe standing is allowed at a ratio of 1:8.
On the Dan Meis website, he says 'The proposed stadium capacity is 52,000 seats with the potential to rise to 62,000 seats in the future'. So he talks about additional seats, not safe standing.

I don't believe that last line is your own.

Do we need to be worried yet? Halfway through October and still no planning permisson.....

They're still taking public comments on the reworked proposal (with the new steps etc), so definitely not. :D

Any word of where the funding is coming from officially
I know where its coming from unofficially ,just wanted to know what spin the club is putting on it
Interest rates at near zero ,not a bad time to borrow
