Yes, the previous CEO said planning permission would be submitted late 2017 when the funding vehicle has been sorted. As of yet neither have been done.
The original statement said season 2021/22 we hoped to be in, then earlier this year it was the 2022/23 season. Might as well say 2023/24 season now.
Thank god we havn't done a Spurs though.
The penny has finally dropped.
Anything under 55k is massively small time.
Also if we go private funding its good to see the kopites and Lib Dems cost the city 7 million a year revenue at a time of austerity cuts because of petty club & party rivalry.
I do. It's also something that went on with the other failed stadium schemes and it came at a point when those projects were as good as finished....and there's nothing stopping the application going in prior to the consultations, as per Destination Kirkby. This is the statutory consultation of the general public that they have to undertake, not just a survey of Evertonians.
Do you understand the difference?
Ok mate. If it makes you feel better to think that....More BS Spin would mean the club are putting money into a sunken project.
Why would they take the time and cost to send folks to New York with Dan Meis? Why hold numerous and lengthy public consultations that will accrue cost?
Is there something here that we're all missing?
This is off FAQs on the official site. Doesn't give any figuresIt’s not on the official site, it’s being reported by the newspapers, so might just be made up
Not really. If planning permission is submitted by the start of the 19/20 season as planned then that's 3 years to build in time for the 22/23 season.
So who are you believing then? The club that they don’t know what capacity they’re going for yet? Don’t be so naive.Oh national papers must be true then
No. They have a poorly thought out politically unacceptable understanding for a funding model with the council. THAT is not investment secured. Sorry, but it just isn;t. Hence the prevarication and endless kicking of a can down the road.Christ mate. They have investors.
Look logically at all the steps in place over last six / twelve months.

Consultations
The club are literally speaking as if it’s happening including the legacy at Goodison.
It totally goes against what your guessing.
Isnt it your Birthday every year?9 months? Well it's my birthday next year so it would be good for them to announce it in 2019.
The previous CEO was full of empty promises.
Different club now, and we’re making sure it’s done correctly.
Tell that to my mother in lawIsnt it your Birthday every year?
