New Everton Stadium Discussion

BMD is the northen bookend of the entire LW footprint. So it will be to the left of the doughnut looking from the river.

Indeed. Here is a picture to help visualize it for the ones that are not aware of the layout.

Although the above marks Nelson Dock (The body of water closest to BM in blue) as part of the central dock system when it is not.

Have to admit I am at a bit of a loss to understand all this. Can see where BMD is but what are the plans for the green bit of docks?

Basically the large bit of land in the middle that has no water will be where most of the large buildings will sit. As you come this way towards BMD there will be blocks surrounding the existing docks.

Yes, the buildings we built around the waterways as per the post by @The binman chronicles

This has been drastically redesigned since the initial release as the majority were skyscrapers
Yes. Albeit these are still only mock-ups, the buildings nearest to the stadium are (a) not as tall and (b) residential rather than office/hotels. Is there less appetite for large scale office buildings than was originally conceived? And now a shift to resi rather than commercial type buildings?
And there is a LOT of red brick render there. Clue to stadium render perhaps.

The council has a policy against high rise buildings, coupled with the ongoing issues with World Heritage, so the original plans were scrapped and a more scaled down vision was presented
