Wasn't aware that the deal was only worth so little, obviously our going rate at the timelol Uncle Usmanov hopefully change that ten fold at least next year

Just thinking about the effects of all this on the New Kit for next season...

Obviously the kit with our new sponsor can be designed....But what about manufacturing?..... would all these type of places not be closed down for the next few months?...

So do we end up playing a big part of next season with this year's kit again?.... We would still have sportspea, but we wouldn't be getting any money from them as we cancelled that deal early....

Same deal with any other club whose signed a new sponsorship deal or kit manufacturing deal with a new brand starting June/July 2020.

Even Liverpool, they switch from New Balance to Nike in June.

So there are also some business reasons for this season needing to finish in May (or be cancelled)

If we do change kit and will likely be linked to whenever any new season can start, it would be unlikely they could be produced or distributed in sufficient quantities that we are familiar with. The economy is likely to be floored in the interim too. The cost of all new shirts is likely to be a lot lot lower. If clubs can currently flog them for 20 quid towards the end of each season, chances are that is a lot closer to their real value.

Even if it via a different company would say megafon be be allowed as a sleeve sponser if another one of Usmanov’s companies USM are the main sponsors on the shirt.

Ironically China and the Far East are likely to come out of this well before us , if we are in the position of allowing football to start again in say August I’d reckon there’d be countries able to manufacture shirts /kit too.
