The thing that annoys me most about this isn't that it's a gambling firm, it's how hypocritical the about face makes us look.
You either have principles or you don't. I'd much rather we'd not pretended to care about this stuff when we dumped SportPesa.
It undermines all the community good Everton does, because it makes all of it now look like hollow PR that we'd happily toss away for a big enough cheque.

No one seemed arsed when we promoted beer on the shirt for years.
Sportpesa were very, very dodgy though. I hope and expect a little more due diligence has been done on Stake.
