So this might have been covered in another thread, (couldn't face scrolling through page after page) but given Silva said we couldn't go into the season with just Seamus as a right back option, who do we think he has his eye on as back up/first choice? Not seen much mentioned about it recently.

I havnt seen any links to a RB actually, (although did Delph cover that position for city?) We do need that cover though, especially after letting Kenny go out on loan

There's a lot of positions we need to firefight and right back is unfortunately down the pecking order. A striker and central defender are a much bigger priority right now - arguably two strikers.

Hadn't considered Delph there tbh, good call, but it makes you wonder why they let Kenny go on loan if there wasn't a definite plan in place. It'll all come clear soon enough I guess!

Delph covered left back unless he played RB for City and I missed it.

Kenny needs game time to see if he can cut it at premier level in a couple of years. I doubt it but he needs game time to get a shot i suppose.

I can’t see us splashing major cash there this season despite feeling like we do need to upgrade Coleman. Not sure who is available on loan.

Semedo would be a dream. I wouldn’t even mind us throwing a high loan fee at Barca for him. Would £7.5m for a season do it?
