Fair point, if you always want us to be a team that just survives….i dont. I think we could be so much better. Lets aim higher, and who knows what we may achieve

It's not a question of "always" mate, it's just being realistic about what's possible in the space of one season

Missing 5 of our best players today. I don’t think the result had much to do with Moyes. We had chances the quality wasn’t quite there today.

Burnley were missing players as well, more than us than due to AFCON.

We desperately need 6/7 new players, but Moyes is massively past his best, so need a new manager. Dont need to wait. Now is the right time

….25 points before the end of December, is a decent return. Win at Old Trafford with 10 men, real progress being made.

Today was disappointing but we weren’t creative without our 3 most creative players. Moyes continues to do a fine job and will hopefully remain in the hot seat until his current contract finishes.

Saying that, the shouts for Iraola coming in at any point are surely wide of the mark given his managerial record.

Having bad managers isn’t any better. The problem with Rafael, Lampard, Dyche etc wasn’t that we fired them it’s that they sucked.

Two of those were always going to be useless and the other was an unknown who did nothing to warrant a PL managers job.

You can strive to be the best but you have to be patient and be realistic that it’s going to take more than one year with the new owners to get to where we want to be. Doesn’t help having our 5 best players missing at the moment too, no team in the PL could cope with that.
