Started watching Everton in 1968. The first game I went to was against Sheffield Wednesday at Goodison, 3-0 to the Blues. I read on another website that one of the goals that day was voted best ever but if it was, I can't remember it. I was too busy trying to keep my balance on a wooden box that we took in so that I could see over the crash barrier. They were great days. I watched us lose the follwoing season 2-0 to Manchester City with the crowd of 55,000 applauding City off the pitch for a classy display of football. Hard to see that happening most places these days.
