You'd think with Azvex with being so close they'd seek to do something with them, likely to be one of my pre match haunts that.

Yes, I would say so. It's split into two tiers (standing lower, seated above) by the dividing wall and with different concourses, yet when sat there it felt as one.

It looks more like one singular stand as well from the photos, and much more entwined than say the Lower and Upper Gwladys. But essentially, they're separated.

Mate, I thought the very same thing. Currently, where I stand in the Lower, you do have the seat in front (at approximately high shin/knee) height to protect you.

The drop from row to row is significant, so I wouldn't want to go tumbling. I suspect they'll have planned for everyone to stand in the lower, and sat in the upper.

But I don't think that'll ultimately be the case in all areas. I stand now, and I've only gone in the upper because my son is too young, even though he stands now.

It may be different when everyone eventually sits in their own seat for a proper game.

Behave. The occasion was to see the stadium not the match. Freezing cold evening on a work night. Loads of people maybe got there early and left early to make it home/travel distances with new trains/busses etc. And remember it was Wigan u18s! The stadium is incredible. That's all that needs to be said.

Only Everton by the way can have a test event and the club shop not be open and operational. A massive opportunity for ten thousand people to purchase goods. Even one off goods. If 2k bought £50’s worth of gear then that’s 100k. Just stupid at times.

Did they need to stay until the end? Probably not, because as I said they'd helped test the turnstiles, build up stewarding procedures and had a look around.

If it was a first-team competitive game, I'd have a completely different view, of course.

The site is still closed to the public because it's still unfinished; Laing have done the structural etc., but the fitting out process is still taking place.

It will be a shame when Nelson dock is eventually regenerated because its more than likely going to ruin the view of the Mersey from the ground...that's majestic but you can't hold back time and tide unfortunately.View attachment 295507

Nelson will have low rise buildings, with gaps between them, it's the ones in the central docks that could block out the view of town.

Not at all. I just think it's pathetic that armchair fans are amplifying it and giving it airtime for what is literally a 1 in 10,000 event. Something like that happens all the time.

It's not us making a big deal out of it, it's other clubs fans. They spread it and then it looks like Everton ST holders are a bunch of thieves. A randomly ticketed event then you do get a load of scruffs perhaps.
