As someone who isn't from Liverpool, the main thing that I have in common with my step dad is Everton. I cannot wait to arrange for us both to go and watch a game together there. The architectural design of the thing, mixed with the old BMD aesthetic is just

The new Anfield is a dog's breakfast of a stadium. It is not aesthetically pleasing at all.

It has one thing going for it IMO - and it has this only by virtue of the fact Everton put it there - it's in the cradle of the city's football history. Stanley Park provides an impressive foregrounded environment to Anfield.

It looks awful. Went to have a look at our ground from the Wirral and you can see Anfield like a blot on the landscape now. Big industrial looking grey blob just above Everton brow.

LFC kicked out quite a number of citizens to make room for the extension. EFC did not.

EFC is very pleasing and is in the forefront of Liverpool, LFC is tucked away.

LFC is a dog's body of add ons, EFC is from scratch.

Leaving GP may well bring benefit to the Walton area, I am not fully aware of development plans unfortunately .

Analfield looks a complete joke....like actually shambolic.

I am 77 years old and hope to see the stadium completed. Will book a room in the Titanic for a few days so I can walk to it.
