Goodison's safety certificate is not under threat and never has been.

By the time our fate for this season has been decided, the stadium should be significantly closer to completion. How that funding/debt equates with the financial consequences of relegation would be a far more onerous question than any safety cert.

I might be mistaken but I think Sunderland were relegated as they were building the Stadium of Light.
