New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I cannot understand why Peel are doing this?

It seems a lot of prime land to give up?

It's been in the plans for a while...

Why do you say this?

Concreting work seems to have progressed well. A significant proportion of the structural steel work is already installed on site.

DFMA techniques are meaning a lot of PCC members are being fabricated off site. The terracing is going on quickly.

The brickwork is also being assembled off site.

I see no evidence of issues.
What one of the LOR told us during the tour, next 2 winters are key

Would be astonished if it isn’t, with the speed this has gone up in 6 months.

It won't be ready for start of 24/25.

If you look at the original programme submitted with planning they should have had some of the roof trusses on by now. I recon they're 4-6 months behind.

If I had to guess I'd say early 2025, Feb/March time it will be open.

Wow, you reckon we are already that far behind??

I'm sure Chong said we were right on schedule a couple of months back, though the schedule image you posted I'm sure was supposed to be where we were up to last week of July

They will have adjusted their programme but we won't be on track in terms of the original one I.e. the one that image is based on.

I think, all going well, the build will be finished end of 2025 assuming no more significant delays. Then they'll need another 2 or 3 months for commissioning, testing, staff training, moving over etc.

Would they then be better waiting until the start of following season do you reckon? Surely be a mess selling season tickets to new members for about 5 games of the season left wouldn't it!

I guess money talks though and they'll want it open ASAP won't they.
