Your posting activity on this forum makes for very interesting reading.
I also find it very interesting that you pop up when the ECHO article interview gets some criticisms.
Curious that.

From another poster...
"I have never heard anyone that knows him in a professional capacity say nothing but good things about him. Both
Moyes and Roberto have nothing but praise for him and he has brought stability to the club. Its easy to write posts on this forum its extremely hard to run a top football club .That's why there are very few that do it well."
I know people who have worked with and under Robert Elstone previously and their comments about him tend to vary dependent upon the length of time involved.
Invariably most say that in the early weeks and months of their tenure with him, they find/found him 'workaholic,' 'driven and focussed,' 'enthusiastic,' and 'supportive.'
However, the comments from those who had more than a year or longer in his vicinity take on a markedly different perspective with comments of the following nature all too common... 'Micro-managing control freak,' 'knee-jerk reactionary,' 'bean counter,' 'prefers to seek expensive external advise rather than listen to and take heed of his own staff and their front-line experience,' 'relentless micro-manager,' 'soul destroying,' 'dis-heartening,' ''un-supportive, doesn't trust his own staff,' and arguably the most concerning for someone entrusted to be CEO of a football club... 'a square peg in a round hole.'
Two people have suggested to me that in their opinion and in terms of their respective capability to be the CEO, that the lady who fronts up EITC Denise Baxendale would be far, far more effective and progressive than Robert Elstone.
