New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Part of me hates this consultation stuff, no matter what the club put out in the end, some will hate it. Designing a Stadium shouldn’t really be done by the fans, most fans no nothing about designing a stadium. There is a saying, “a camel is a horse, designed by committee”. The best designs are one person’s vision, clearly realised.

All this process is doing is delaying the stadium. The cynical will even say that all the decisions are actually already made and this process is just about pandering to the fans, after the whole badge debacle we had a few years ago

100% this.

Cannot believe the fan consultation ended up with a figure of 55,000. Every Evertonian I know was 60,000 with many including me following the 61878 line. If they are saying that is the result of the consultation, I simply don' believe it and they are massaging the results to suit.

I wouldn't put it past bill and co to lie about what the results were tbh. Just so it "seems" that's what the fans wanted

The initial survey results have looked at headline figures. ie 99% want over 50k.
It is not going to say 33% want over 55k. 33% want over 60k etc.

For me the question should not have even been on the survey.

Most of the questions shouldn't be going out for public consultation - We don't know what the capacity should be, YOU'RE the business geniuses with forecasting models and market trends analysis - YOU TELL US what the capacity should be

Leave the public to decide what beer should be sold and what music should be played at half time

Daily Mirror so can’t link it but they have just posted a story.

Imagine not even getting close to competing with them in capacity.
