New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Going by the tweets of those there, it’s basically the same old we’ve heard for the past two years. Elstone saying the design could allow for a future expansion is hinting towards us being disappointed with what the capacity it is originally going to be built to.

Just get a move on, FFS.

It's like a concept album from Pink Floyd. We're still waiting for a single note to break the tension.

That's if concept albums lasted years, and by Pink Floyd, I was probably thinking more of a Spinal Tap.

It'll be 45-50k capacity. Lack of ambition continues to be the driver at Everton. Man U, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea & RS will all have 60k stadia within next 4 years. Everton most definitely will not.

Loads more of nothingness @davek

We're literally at the same stage we were at this time last year when this scheme was formally introduced: no funding, no designs, no planning permission. In fact, it could easily be argued that we're worse off than this time last year: the scheme has hit a major bump in the road over funding, it's at the mercy of a decision by UNESCO this summer as to its appropriateness for the river front, and the financial team at LCC's end of things have been decimated by arrests and resignations.

No one can argue with the conclusion that its been nothing short of a disaster so far.

Yeah - I am starting to think this has hit problems, costs are an issue and the capacity will be reduced. I will disappointed if that is the case but we have to move from Goodison to the docks even if it is only 50,000 seater. Smaller stadium with the ability to expand following growth and success I am willing to accept. Staying at Goodison, sad as it may be, will be the end of Everton returning as major force in British football ever again.

We have heard nothing since the AGM from anybody (Anderson, Meis, Moshiri etc.) so there are obviously issues behind the scenes that they are struggling to overcome. All very Everton and the excitement and hope created by Moshiri's arrival is dissipating quickly.

Not even having a concept design at this stage for the fans to see is just not right.

we should already be building the thing if it had any real legs..

billionaires definitely don't like dragging their feet on projestc like this, as every month that goes by see's more increases in prices and more risk , with brexit looming.

over 2 years and not even a hint of a set of drawings, hell we haven't even seen a concept design, that could easily have been produced, just to show us what they are looking at doing
