Just got back to my hotel from the "London stadium". Absolutely wonderful stadium. For athletics. I was quite high up in the Bobby Moore stand but even when I moved down when people started disappearing it felt miles away from the turf. Praying Brum get the CW games, a running track is terminal for a football stadium.

That stadium looks truly amazing, too. Maybe the best looking design Meis has done, although I LOVE his Cincinatti soccer stadium that he just put out a couple weeks ago.

Not entirely so. As others I think have alluded to previously, the idea that the new BMD Stadium could help the city of Liverpool host the commonwealth games may have helped smooth over the funding method/security provided by LCC.
