New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

The notes from the club around previous ground moves suggest that would be the case.
The area of interest for me would be the extent to which Goodison is mortgaged and how that impacts on a ground move to WHP.
Thanks Kithnou and Kiwi. So the hope would be that Goodison is not mortgaged and it's sale would contribute to the building of the new stadium.

I would think/hope it would help to raise some funds....can't for the life of me see where we are going to raise much more unless we use Sky money, which means no money for transfers without selling first again? I don't think we can/will do that once again surely?

Or perhaps rather that we could see a proposed land trade with the council with GP being traded to the council in exchange for getting the other bigger slice of land free of charge. Who knows really

Always thought this. We have to have a team fit for a stadium not a Stadium for a team. If it means saving up Our transfer budgets to fund it that's stupid.

How are we going to fund the stadium? Or at least a deposit for a loan to fund it?
I would imagine a mixture of the proceeds from Goodison, loans from the banks, investors from the other parties and a set amount of TV money every year e.g. =>10million over 10years would fund the stadium

a £200-300,000,000 stadium? how w e going to pa back all those banks and investors?
Well for starters the Liverpool Mutual Homes wouldn't get the green space land without a partnership with us so I'd suspect that we won't be paying them back anything but instead they'll invest in our stadium for the community benefits it provides as well as getting them the land.
The fact that they are partners along with the city council suggests that the stadium will consist of more than just a footie ground or concert venue, and will include other leisure facilities in a manner akin to the planned York Community stadium. This provides a community hub in addition to the housing as part of a holistic regeneration of the area and parkland.

I haven't read every entry in this thread. ...but it seems to me reading between the lines of what Bill and Elstone said .....ie this is going to take some time and we dont know how long ......means they have no idea where the money comes from either...BUT.....this may well make us much more attractive to a potential investor or buyer and that may be the thinking here....the shop window is back open...watch this space......s l o w l y
