New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I can just imagine LCC's conversation with Kenwright a few days ago......:

LCC: Sorry Bill, we've got to publicly announce you're interested in Walton Hall Park.

Bill: But we've not got any money to pay for it, no architects' plans to show, no retail or commercial partners... nothing!

LCC: Unfortunate.... but we've still got to announce it now. 10 year regeneration plans for North Liverpool need to be announced. Proper businesses with actual money will want to know if they can buy WHP. Can't you spin something?

Bill: Going to have to, aren't I?!!! Something about passing there on the way to the match... I'll think of something.

LCC: Ta. Got to dash - planning permission just been rubberstamped for Liverpool's stadium build. Spade in the ground in January 2015. Exciting times!

Bill: *sobs*

The Nando's Stadium

We'd have to change the badge to this.

Greenpeace hippies will go crazy and do everything in their cracky power to stall this
yes. It will be like Coro St when Emily Nugent's nephew Geoffrey "Spider" Nugent arrived on the scene, Emily took him in and they became fast friends as well as tree dwelling protesters in saving the Red Rec from Alf Roberts' proposed "Millenium Bowl".

The UK has just had 4 years of quantitative easing. Where billions of pounds has been printed and thrown put into the financial markets to increase liquidity. (Money availability).

Interest rates at record lows.

If we can't fund a stadium now with that lot sloshing around we never will be able to.

Half a trillion!

To promote growth!
