I think you'll find that modern health and safety/and or/ building requirements restrict the rake on a stand, and a very 'steep' stand would therefore be out of the question. I believe the Echo Arena is pretty steep, but think its either a different context, or they got in just before the change. I know that many old theatres could not be built today they way they were built way back when...nearly every London theatre, for example, breaks H and E regs at some point.

There was something in the KEIOC docs re rake.

It all depends, if I remember correctly, on the number of tiers.

I'd go with that mate. It would actually be a very shrewd move. Everybody refers to W.Ham's ground as Upton Park, even though the stadium is called The Boleyn Ground. We could call it WHP and still sell the stadium name to Kwik Save.

no it's not just you, we all will be devastated when the day comes. but theres no need to fall into dark mudd pit of despair like some will. Life goes on and new stadium will be boss.
