New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Post-match, they'd run out of quite a few different beers in the South Stand, so I am going to hazard a guess that it did.

In terms of no queues, a fair few fans were in the plaza from around 3.45pm (just after the coach greet), so it was distributed out over three hours.

Guiness and Stella had ran out before kick near us, think they got it going again by halftime though.

Serious questions need to be asked of Sky over last night,

Thousands who attennded HD last night went on social media raving about the noise and the atmosphere.

Anyone I have spoken to who was at the game says the same.

I have seen dozens of posts on Twitter and on GOT verifying all this.

And yet.

I watched on TV and I was surprised that the atmosphere appeared very muted and low key.

Some people on the match thread commented on this and the consensus was that Sky were indeed muting the crowd noise.

But why would they do this?

Then I heard a (faintish) chant of “Premier League…corrupt as [Poor language removed]” and the reason for this became obvious.

Especially in light of the very obvious PL corruption this very week over the Chelsea (non) punishment.

A point reinforced by the lack of an “apology” to any viewer who heard “offensive language” which they seem to do in every match.

Shame on Sky…they facilitate Masters and his motley band of chancers.

Pravda.

Yeah, that wasn’t faintish at all. The whole ground was bellowing it.

It was as loud as I’ve heard it yesterday, so if it didn’t come across on telly, it’s a broadcasting issue, for sure.

Edit: Also, don’t know if this got broadcast or not, but saw this come out when Chelsea got a corner down by the South East.

For the last 25 on the TV I actially thought SKY had overdubbed the audio with a German game as the noise was that loud and constant. I thought it came across great!

I noticed at the end of the Newcastle game there didnt appear to be any kind of "signage" on the seats and all the seats were grey,
I wonder if there fans are having the same debates as us.

And watching the Spurs game, the away section appears to be in a near identical part of the ground to ours, but we read lots of complaints that it is poorly situated.

Noise! I had to put my ear plugs in last night. When I started singing, my husband asked could he borrow them! Absolutely brilliant noise though.
