New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Very good today. A Saturday KO. A bit of sunshine. People being able to have a few bevvies before the game.

A bit of spice, in terms of the Chelsea financial decision, which got the crowd narky from the off, which in turn got the players fighting from minute 1.

Had all the elements in place for a good win.

My hot take is - it’s exactly the same as Goodison. If the conditions are right - the atmosphere will be ace. Otherwise it will be dead quiet.

The Bricks and Mortar have changed, the location is different, but it’s still the same bunch of supporters inside.

Great atmosphere tonight apart from one issue in Club View where one fella called the police on a young lad suspected of being a chelsea fan when we were 2-0 up. The fella was screaming at the police to kick the lad out and our fans telling him to calm down because we were 2-0 and the lad had done nothing all game to provoke it.

I think he was trying to make a point after the arsenal game and just looked like a tit especially when he was giving our own fans verbals for telling him to pipe down and enjoy the fact we were 2-0 up!

Great atmosphere besides that slightly sour note and we march towards europe

Wonderful stadium, wonderful performance and an incredible atmosphere.

Couldn't be happier with my first visit to our special new home.

Cross posting from the match thread, I couldn't be happier with an incredible first visit. It's truly a brilliant place that, to me at least, feels like it's captured the spirit of the toffees completely. Can't wait to go back.

as today was my first visit to the new home of us might blues first and foremost the stadium was unbelievable! secondly the atmosphere was the biggest thing as we walked up towards it a fella i was walking with said it’s not been great and was unsure it would change today but my god from the first kick it was electric. one downsides i’ll be interested to know who the bloody hell thought it was a good idea to sell doughnuts for £6.50 and a pie for £6.20! either it’s a comedy thing or most of us mighty blues have found gold at the bottom of the rainbow 😂 other than rhat what a result glad my mate couldn’t make it and i got the best game of our season so far to watch best money i’ve spent in years and that includes getting married and having kids habaha

The anger was a huge part of tonight.
