The new Winslow is opening tomorrow I think. It's called Dixie's and is on Dickson St.

I still don't know anyone who enjoys a loud guitarist. When I've been in previously everyone looks glum.

I've got a copy of his official biography somewhere. He didn't hate the name Dixie, her accepted it. Just he preferred Bill to his friends and family

He rejected it because it had racial connotations.

I use the name myself - and I can see why a bar would use the name - but if I were his family I'm not sure I would if it was his wish not to be referred in such a way.

I think it's very difficult to assess given the huge amount of time and change since...

Unfathomable to me that.

I think if it were most people no matter how popular the name Dixie is and always will be I dont think - knowing how irritated he got with its use - they'd want a family member's wishes to be ignored.
