New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Mrs TT and I own a McCarthy & Stone apartment in Sidcup, South London/Kent and are able to stay in Mc&S guest suites all over the UK very cheaply. We're planning to stay in Bridgnorth on April 23rd, and spend her birthday (April 24th) in and around Telford, en route to Crosby for the night and then Llandudno for the 25th to the 28th. The plan was to visit the stadium on the 25th. Sadly there are no stadium tour slots available but as long as I can see it that will do for now. Also, the Llandudno guest suite is fully booked so we've managed to book the Anglesea development instead
When you visit make sure you enquire again about stadium tours.
Occasionally they get cancellations and they may be able to fit you in at the last minute. ;)

Moving away from Goodison Park was always going to be a huge step. The Hill Dickinson Stadium will never be Goodison, and relocating to a new site was always likely to bring challenges—some perhaps predictable, others less so. However, there is no doubt that the new ground is outstanding and arguably one of the best in the country.
Of course, there are still issues that need to be resolved to ensure the matchday experience is positive for everyone, regardless of age. I have only visited the stadium once—when Everton played Wolves—so I am not necessarily the best person to suggest specific solutions.
That said, people need to be realistic and understand that not everything can be fixed immediately, and some issues may be beyond the club’s direct control. Nevertheless, I’m sure there are practical and relatively simple improvements that could be made over time to help things run more smoothly

Some interesting comments.

The article on the front page about not renewing ST, whilst doesn’t affect me, and someone on a waiting list will be overjoyed when get offered one, made me sad. Was always going to be different, and there have been loads of complaints about allsorts. But reading a calm well reasoned justification why it’s no longer worth it for just one person, regardless of how impressive the stadium is….🥹

The interesting part about this article is the cost complaint as the author seems to suggest ongoing attendance through resale however I know a number of blues using the ballot and resale process that are desperate for seats at the season ticket average price, any suggestion of a season ticket going for face value is snapped up in our supporters club.

Resale are sold at £65/70 a seat by the club where we pay £40 a game for 19 matches. We expect a lot all at once as fans. Things are improving in my experience game by game and I can’t wait for the upcoming home fixtures and better weather!

Yep.

Greedy exploitative owners will hopefully get a severe lesson in Scouse economic realities.
I doubt it given the waiting list...

I mean, we have far too many season tickets (if we care about maximising revenue). Season tickets are basically subsidised. But Seat Unique etc allows people to pick and choose. One fella will drop his season ticket and you'll find there's ten fellas waiting to take it.

Maybe. We'll see if the anger is maintained and people do give up their STs...and we'll also see then just how deep the queue is for them given the intelligence all those in line will have heard about the beauty of getting their hands on one.

It would be interesting to know how big the actual waiting list is, beyond the mythology. For several matches the resale tickets have been nowhere near sold out, with lots of empty seats on the night, so where are all these desperate waiting list fans? The answer is they're easily covered in the general sale phase for most matches..... hence all the opposition fans in the seat uniqie sections too. Almost every club claims massive ST waiting lists, mostly to be able to leep selling expensive hospitality packages.
